PENINSULA AGENCY ON AGING (PAA) is a non-profit organization and vital resource dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults and their families. They serve the communities of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, York County, James City County, and Williamsburg. PAA offers a diverse array of services and programs tailored to the unique needs of older adults.

SOUTH HAMPTON ROADS (SHR) HABITAT FOR HUMANITY assists low-income and disabled homeowners with much needed home repairs to make their homes warm, safe and dry. They also address repairs that are a potential health risk to the home's residents.

HAMPTON SENIOR CENTER provides a social setting for older adults to connect with one another. Services include a gym, a garden, a resource center and a frequent calendar of exciting activities.

INNOVAGE is a provider of the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) which specializes in assisting older adults age in place in several ways, including in home nursing, transportation, nutrition and much more.

RIVERSIDE CHOOSE HOME is a membership based program which provides members with resources  for programs and services so they can feel supported as they comfortably and safely age in place.

HAMPTON ROADS MOBILITY specializes in stairlifts, ramps, and vehicle lifts for all of your needs beyond the bathroom.

SENIOR NAVIGATOR is a nonprofit guide to healthy aging and Senior living in Virginia.

VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT FOR AGING AND REHABILITATION SERVICES (DARS) provides support to improve the employment, quality of life, security, and independence of older Virginians, Virginians with disabilities, and their families.

SENIOR SERVICES OF SOUTHEAST VIRGINIA (SSSV) is a private, nonprofit organization, that supports and enriches the lives of seniors and their families through advocacy, education, information, and comprehensive services. They serve residents in Chesapeake, Franklin, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and Isle of Wight and Southampton counties.

U.S DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) offers housing grants for Veterans and service members with certain service-connected disabilities so they can buy or change a home to meet their needs and live more independently.

VIRGINIA OFFICE OF THE STATE LONG-TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN are advocates for older persons receiving long term care services, whether the care is provided in a nursing home or assisted living facility, or through community-based services to assist persons still living at home.
